unlockHabit ("we", "us", or "our") is a habit tracking app for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Data We Collect

unlockHabit is designed to work offline. Most data stays on your device:

• Habit data – habits, completions, streaks, and settings you create are stored locally on your device using encrypted on-device storage (MMKV). We do not have access to this data.
• Subscription data – if you purchase a Pro subscription, your purchase is processed by Apple and managed by RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect your Apple purchase receipt and a device identifier to verify your subscription status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials.
• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not share your data with third parties, except RevenueCat for subscription management (see above).

3. Notifications

If you enable habit reminders, unlockHabit schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are processed entirely on-device and no notification content is sent to our servers.

4. Data Export

unlockHabit allows you to export your habit data as a file to your device. You control where this file is stored and shared. We do not receive any exported data.

5. Children's Privacy

unlockHabit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
